WORKBOOK IN GENERAL CHEMISTRY FOR MARITIME STUDENTS (Revised Edition) The purpose of this workbook is to allow students to develop the ability to solve a variety of problems encountered in a General Chemistry course. It is a complement to a textbook that provides a background for the exercises and problems presented. It provides some skills in observation, processes, and training to achieve some skills in observation, classification, comparison, data gathering, etc. Activities presented here do not require any mathematical knowledge and maybe supplemented by additional experiments. Tests are also included at the end of every activity to assess how well the students have performed the tasks presented through the experiments.
